Meghas Atdidhi Indian Cuisine in Sterling Heights

Not as good as it used to be today... Warmers didn't keep some if the food warm... Not one of the best tasting Indian food today.

It’s one of good Indian restaurant in Sterling Heights Michigan area, it’s my destination for Indian food in weekdays and staff is really good, I love Gobi Manchurian and paneer butter Masala most, and Naan is always soft which makes my dinner awesome, still they need to work on how to make better Malai Kota.

I always stop by buying some food in this place. I liked the swift service and well cooked dishes. Kudos.

Tasty food! Yumm!! They are very professional, organized and go above and beyond to help you with figuring out what you need/design according to your needs. We celebrated our son's first birthday party at their banquette hall. Decorations were perfect, cake was delicious and the food was amazing!! They accommodated for the delicacy we requested, which was a special from our home town and it tasted awesome. Special Thanks to Ajay and Sara for making this happen.

One of the best places to go for authentic Indian food! I love the flavors at meghas adithi indian cusine and the staff is really friendly and helpful. Being Indian, I like the fact that the food is absolutely authentic and healthy . You won't be disappointed, your stomach will be happy and your wallet won't be completely empty... lunch buffet when I used to work in the area and I would totally recommend the place to others. The buffet is a great deal - lots of variety.

we with colleagues came here for buffet. Staff are super friendly and food is very nice and traditional. Its rare to see regional and traditional food in America. Will visit again for dinner

I like this place! They serve sensational food, their menu is varied, The chef in that restaurant is very trained, I like very much eating all their dishes. The food is consistently of high qualtity, the service towards the guests is helpful. I frequently visit this place and I was never disappointed. I recommend it to all my friends.

This restaurant serves finest Indian cuisine. I really liked their preparation and food quality. If you are looking for authentic Indian taste, Athidhi is a must go. And don't forget to try their mango mousse which is one of the best and for sure will tantalize your taste buds.

Nice Indian restaurant. Felt like having food at India.Had a buffet on a weekend priced at 9.99$ which is not bad. Little bit dissapointed as they dont have lot of items compared to some other indian restaurants. Or else the food was good, can be made better for fes more items. The service was nice and good. They have home delivery now which is good

Excellent eating experience.. from walking in the door and being greeted by employee, seated and food order taken, was maybe 5 minutes. Meal was served hot and excellent taste. Server was very friendly and helpful.

This place gives excellent service and delightful menu. The best spot around here. The drinks and food came out quickly and the rates are economical. Will definitely recommend this place.

NOTE: Most reviews of this place seem to be fake and cooked up stories. This is a google 4+ star restaurant for sure. We were in Sterling heights for a movie in the evening and we wanted some dinner so we decided to come here. We were greeted well and the staff were super friendly. As for the food, we were recommended a chappli kebab for appetizer. Apart from that we ordered two types of biriyanis, a paneer dish and two chicken dishes. The kebab was presented really well and tasted amazing. The other dishes were great as well. The vindaloo which I ordered didn't taste like the vindaloo I was used to so I can't rate that but I tasted all the other dishes and they were really good. Highly recommend this place.

Fooda came to my office today. I didn’t actually try the food, but I sat next to someone who did, and he said it was delicious.

Celebrated our baby's 1st birthday in Jalsa banquet hall. Food is good and it's real unlimited deal. Good thing is that just walk in and just walk out by paying. They provide whole package: food, decoration, cake, hall. They did nice job. Keep it up.

We ordered food catering from Athidhi for our daughter's first birthday last week. All our guests are amazed with the food varieties and taste. They accepted order in very short notice and delivered high quality food on time with best price. Especially GOAT curry was a big hit. They made a very beautiful cake for the party and cookies, cake pops that are made specially for the theme were very tasty. Great service, and thank you for making our event a big success with the excellent food. Glad we chose you and you proved that we took a right decision :)

Best traditional South Indian food. Very good restaurant. Over 30 Items in Buffet for 12$. I am from Vijayawada and I can say one thing this is the best South indian restaurant. Go for it.

This has just got to be one of the finest indian restaurants in the city. Everything is delicious & fresh. The service was also kind & prompt. Athidhi Indian Cuisine knows how to do it right! :)

Planned my nephew's 1st birthday party here. Everything was going good until owner Ajay stopped communicating. Gave the excuse of having emergency multiple times. You would think he would assign another person to respond in his absence. Bad way to do business. Anyway He ended up cancelling one week before the event because he got irritated that we wanted to meet "too many" times (we just wanted to make sure everything was going to plan). When refunding the deposit the owner was angry and threw the money across the counter. Food is alright not great, definitely not fine dining. Look elsewhere or risk having your event ruined.

Very lovely staff and wonderful food. Highly recommended. Best dosas in town and we loved baby corn pepper salt.

There's nothing wrong with the food, it's pretty good. But everything else could stand major improvement. The cutlery wasn't very clean, there was a fly buzzing around and the whole place had a nasty smell. It was awful! Next time I'm ordering takeout since I love the tasty food. Never setting my foot in there again!

Had a terrible dinner today - Dosa batter turned sour. Manager had a feeling because immediately he understood what might be spoiling our taste. But despite that they continue to serve the same to their diners. Very disappointed !!

Today I had the lunch buffet there with a coworker. We both enjoyed the variety of tasty Indian dishes for a very reasonable price. The staff was great and all of it in a comfortable atmosphere.

The taste and variety of the delicacies have been significantly changed. I loved the food. Because of the change I was there 3 times in a week! Buffet has a wide variety of food and deserts from different regions of Indian. Keep up the good work!

What a reply from the owner. Definitely I can review anything at any time. We are in 2019 Mr. Owner. Maybe you need to have some professional service provided to dine in customers. Not having a waiter who does not know how to treat your customers. She needs to learn customer service 101. And with the way your reply, that proved to me that this comes all the way from you as an owner to employees and good luck maintaining your customers. I suggest you need to also take a training on how to treat your customers. Good luck with that DUDE!

Me and my husband LOVE this restaurant we come once a week. I was in search of a delicious Indian restaurant since moving to Michigan and had zero luck. But we found this place and are in LOVE we have become regulars food is flavorful staff is friendly and service is amazing. We dine in or take out food quality doesn’t change both amazing definitely recommend!

We visited Mega’s Athidhi Indian cuisine for lunch. It can be located easily from normal moving traffic. Few things to know before hand : • Don’t try if you are trying Indian food for the first time or if you are craving for it. • South Indian dishes are bad. Idlis are hard and brittle (using these words purposefully). • Plates and cups are oily and covered with dust, paper dust mostly. • Desserts are below average expect mango mousse which is worth trying. • Decent visual appeal. “Everything that looks good doesn’t have to be good”.

If I could give No star or minus start I would have . Very rude customer service with very bad attitude. Waiter started shouting at us when we asked how long it will take after good 30/35 minutes wait. When he brought the plate he passed the plate to a waitress like he was throwing food at us and he dropped daal on the floor next to my feet. I always eat out but never been in a restaurant like this. This is my last visit there. Thank you so much Mr Waiter or Cashier or owner who ever you are, for your extra ordinary service.

This spot sure knows how to serve their clients. Constantly with a welcoming attitude. The food is reasonably priced, always delightful and clean.

Food is great and the hot bar has a great selection. My problem is that everytime I go in their it is so DIRTY. The walls, the bathroom (no soap in the ladie's room) the rug, the utensils EVERYTHING is filthy. I never drink the water because the water magnifies the dirt floating in the glass. I have never gotten sick so I guess it is safe to eat there. It is my husband's and daughter's favorite restaurant so I have no choice but to dine there. They did update the restrooms beautifly but they are still gross with tampons on the floor and rings on pink mold in the toilets. Eat at your own risk and if you get sick you will at least know how and where you got that way.

Visited Athidhi today and ordered Egg fried rice. Asked for specific INDIAN STREET STYLE dish. These people are just amazing and delivered what I wanted. Very well made and done. They also gave their day special - CHICKEN FRY and my family was so happy we ate best INDIAN food in Michigan. I strongly recommend this place if anyone wants to try authentic Indian food.

I am from Chicago. When ever I am around here, always prefer to come to Athidhi Restaurant. Food is good and taste remains great. Keep up the good work. Decor needs little push.. just a suggestion :)

Very good food at a good value! We like the variety at the Sunday buffet and never have to wait for a table. I would have given it 5 stars except for the kind of shabby decor. The decor could use updating, but I'm sure they will get around to it. Meanwhile, it continues to be our favorite Indian restaurant among many in the area.

Food test is good but Very unclean kitchen. If you ever chance to get a look you might avoid this place. Don’t know how govt allow this. Price ok. Please clean your plate properly

Recently coming from India has me missing my moms cooking but this place my colleague recommended helped with that. I asked the owner and he said his spices are from India itself and it’s no wonder why it tastes so aunthentic compared to other places in the area. 10/10

Honestly this is best Indian cuisine (From Taste perspective) in whole of Michigan. I ate at many Indian places including restaurants in Troy and Farmington area but cant match the taste I get here. Tell me who can give better Butter Chicken and Dosas than Athidhi? Go for it.

Definitely one of the best places to get Indian food in metro detroit.I had garlic naan, with butter chicken. Just delicious.So happy I found this place! Ill be back.

One of the best South Indian restaurants in Sterling Heights. I come here every weekend with my brother to this place and I love their menu. Every dish they serve is fresh and mouthwatering. Staff are friendly and prices are affordable.

Working with Ajay was a disasters. Due to him not disclosing information upfront, we had to cancel our event a week before our event date. Actually he canceled on us because he of an argument he got in with me. He has no respect for his client, nor does want to take time out for them. He was treated with respect from our end but we did not get treated the same way back. I would not recommend him to anyone, i would not want anyone to go through the hassle we had to.

Visited this place on 04/19 first time...their biryani is awesome. My wife and kid also love this place. We would visit this place every week and highly recommend this.

Today they had special buffet. 44 items in buffet. To be frank some items probably you will never find in America. Poornalu, chicken chet peta, achari shrimp, mutton pulov, Jack fruit biryani. Amazing. Today is our wedding anniversary and Athidhi made our day. Seems new ownership is taking everystep to make it very traditional. Goat Paya soup and Fish 777 were tooooo good. 👌👌👌👌👌👌
